Abstract. This article examines the role of vaccination in maintaining public
health, as well as its impact on reducing the incidence of infectious diseases. Historical
aspects of vaccination, advances in immunization, and statistics supporting the
effectiveness of vaccines are discussed. Problems related to misinformation about
vaccines and accessibility to immunization are explored, as well as factors affecting
vaccination rates in different regions. The article emphasizes the importance of
educational programs and active community involvement to increase vaccination
awareness and improve public health. It concludes by emphasizing the need for further
research to adapt vaccination strategies to modern challenges.
